Hoops for Hearing!

This year was our first year for our philanthropy event called Hoops for Hearing. Hoops for Hearing is a basketball tournament that we hosted involving different groups of fraternity men on our campus. The games were setup to be 3 on 3, and we started off the day with 7 teams total. Each game had its own intensity as every team wanted to move forward in the bracket. Our reward for the winning team was t-shirts for each member of the team, plus a $100 donation to the winning fraternities philanthropy. The men of Sigma Pi won 4 games to be crowned the winner of the event. Over all Delta Zeta-Epsilon Nu made $1,600 to go towards the Starkey Hearing Foundation. We are so thankful for the participants and our sisters that make these events happen!

Missouri State Delta Zeta Galentine's Day

Earlier this semester the Epsilon Nu chapter hosted our annual Galantine's Day. This event involves getting our sisterhood together to host girls at Missouri State University and other campus sororities with Valentine's day treats and activities. The event included pop-up shops from Springfield boutiques as well as giveaways. Just in this one event, we were able to raise over $1,200 for the Starkey Hearing Foundation! We want to give a special shoutout to our VP of Philanthropy, Quinn Peterson, and also to our sisterhood chair members, Jessie Dencker and Rachel Delaney! We are so lucky to be able to have a hardworking chapter and can't wait for our next philanthropy event, Hoops for Hearing, on March 24.
