About Epsilon Theta Chapter

Epsilon Theta was founded on October 24, 1956 at Clarion University in Clarion, PA. We've been around 62 years and going strong!

Our chapter is a part of Delta Zeta Region 3. We currently have a total of 31 members in our chapter and our average GPA is 3.42!
We enjoy hosting campus and philanthropy events such as Friendsgiving, Kick It for Starkey, working with Clarion Psych Center, and committing out time to the community not only throughout the year, but also during the semi-annual CU Day of Service!

Sister of the Semester - Fall 2018

As the semester quickly came to an end, the Epsilon Theta chapter named Jenna Gialloreto as their sister of the semester. Jenna has shown the chapter how much she cares about Delta Zeta since day one, and now as a senior Jenna still continues to act as a role model to all of our sisters through her passion and commitment to our chapter. Throughout her time in Delta Zeta, Jenna has held many important positions which she always went above and beyond with. This past semester, Jenna was our rituals chair. Jenna took her job very seriously and made sure all sisters realized the true meaning and importance behind all of our rituals that we shared. No matter if we have a sisterhood activity or a philanthropy event, you can always count on Jenna to be there to lend a helping hand with a smile on her face. We cannot thank Jenna enough for all that she has done for the chapter!

Delta Zeta Receives Honor for Philanthropic Efforts

The Epsilon Theta chapter received recognition at this year's Academic Ball at Clarion University. Out of all of the greek life organizations on campus, Delta Zeta was recognized for raising the most money towards our philanthropy for the semester. We are so proud of the entire chapter for receiving this award, but it could not have been done without the hard work and dedication of our VP of Philanthropy, Taylor Franco. Taylor's passion towards Starkey and the Painted Turtle Camp can be seen through the dedication she has put towards raising awareness and funds to benefit both the PTC and Starkey.

On top of the Chapter wide recognition, many sisters were also presented Academic Achievement Awards for their outstanding success throughout the school year.

Erika Holleran, President of the Epsilon Theta Chapter at Clarion University, is moved to give back through her Delta Zeta experience

Erika Holleran, President of the Epsilon Theta Chapter at Clarion University, is a senior who is truly touched by her experience in Delta Zeta.

"As I approach my senior year," Erika said, "I cannot help but thank Delta Zeta for the amazing opportunities and life lessons that I have gained from such a giving organization. Personally, this chapter has taught me how important it is to give back to the community and how much of an impact you can leave on the lives of others."

Delta Zeta has helped Erika appreciate life in a different way as well. "I now treasure the small things that others may take for granted, such as communication and being able to hear for the first time," she said. "This organization has helped me to become a leader, and I am honored to represent such an amazing group of women. I would be nothing without my chapter and the hard work, love and dedication of its members."

Erika knows she shares a special bond that can never be broken. "The Epsilon Theta Chapter is made up of strong women, who all share a bond through their commitment to help others. We enhanced awareness within our local community and are always working to give back to our philanthropy of speech and hearing. We volunteer our time and service in the hopes of touching the lives of those around us."
