Madison Thompson, President of the Gamma Chi Chapter at Ball State University, has made an amazing journey with Delta Zeta.
"My journey with Delta Zeta starting in September of 2013, when I became a proud member of the Gamma Chi Chapter at Ball State University," said Madison. "I am the youngest of four girls in my family, so I am no stranger to the bonds of sisterhood! However, as a new member I did not expect that this organization and the women who I call my sisters would change my life forever.
"I have been supported, loved, encouraged, and encouraged to become the best version of myself. It is because of this unique love and support that I felt comfortable to take on leadership roles within my chapter and on campus. Alumna Adrienne Maxwell encouraged me from the start to lean in and get involved and I am so glad that I listened to her! I can proudly say that I have now served my chapter and my Greek community as Delta Zeta Panhellenic Delegate, Vice President of Scholarship on the Panhellenic Council, and now as Delta Zeta Chapter President.
"Not only have I been given valuable leadership experiences," Madison continued, "but I have been given friendships that will last a lifetime. The bonds I share with my sisters are like nothing I can explain with words. I am so grateful for each and every one of them. They truly make my life and heart full.
"Looking back now, as I enter my senior year of college, I just want to thank Delta Zeta for giving me my closest friends, incredible experiences, endless opportunities and memories that I will carry in my heart forever."
