Noelle Svensson, President of Gamma Omicron at San Diego State University, is a strong leader because of Delta Zeta

Noelle Svensson, President of the Gamma Omicron Chapter at San Diego State University, is an accounting major and works as a recreation leader for the City of San Jose Parks and Recreation, ensured children have a safe camping experience.

"Delta Zeta has truly become a home away from home for me in San Diego," Noelle said. "As the first in my family to attend a four-year university, moving away and living on my own was a transition. Joining Delta Zeta has been the best decision I could have made in my college years because I have been introduced to women who I know will be lifetime friends.

"Leadership has always been very important to me, and I am thankful that Delta Zeta values it as much as I do. Serving as President for the Gamma Omicron Chapter has given me skills and experiences that I will cherish forever. I'm so thankful to be able to give back to the Sorority that has given me so much through leadership and serving my community."

Gamma Omicron Chapter wins Homecoming Week at San Diego State University
February 19, 2016

The Gamma Omicron Chapter teamed with the gentlemen of Kappa Alpha Fraternity for San Diego State's Homecoming competitions. "Competitive activities such as a talent show, relay races, a can drive, and a commercial contest kept our team very busy," said Valerie Bush, LAMP Editor. "Day after day, our team was earning more points by participating in all of the events, but we were still unsure of who would take the prize.

"One of the biggest highlights of the week was our commercial, which won first place out of every group and was played at the Homecoming game! At the end of the week, it was announced that our team won the entire competition! We were the winners of Homecoming week!"
