Iota Rho was founded on January 11, 1969 at West Chester University in West Chester, PA. We've been around 50 years and going strong!

Our chapter is a part of Delta Zeta Region 2. We currently have a total of 105 members in our chapter and our average GPA is 3.44! For the academic year Fall 2016 through Spring 2017 our chapter has donated 0 service hours and $400.00!

Iota Rho Chapter (West Chester University) raises $6,300 for Starkey Hearing Foundation at the Diamond Ball

The Iota Rho Chapter at West Chester University began a new tradition.with the Delta Zeta Diamond Ball.

A large-scale philanthropy event in the spring semester, friends and family, enjoyed laughter and dancing at the Diamond Ball.The event included a formal dinner, a performance from one of the chapter members, raffles, event t-shirts, a photo booth, senior awards and a DJ who provided the music.

"Seeing the happiness and enjoyment on people's faces told me it was a successful event," said Leah Miraglia, Philanthropy Chairman. "After all the hard work. we raised $6,300 for the Starkey Hearing Foundation. As Philanthropy Chairman, I was so proud of my chapter. All of their work and dedication showed. It is even more rewarding to me knowing that all of the money raised is going to a great cause!"

Jody Strauss Silverman, West Chester - Iota Rho, was honored as the Big Sister of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters in Southern New Jersey (Independence Region). She has been working with her Little Sister, Katelynn, for the past five years, inspiring and mentoring her.

Jody is Philanthropy Chairman of the Southern New Jersey Alumnae Chapter and is an Executive Board member of the Greater Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter.
