Pi Omicron Chapter (Indianapolis University-Purdue University Indianapolis) supports Riley's Children's Hospital through Dance Marathon and each other with sisterhood event

The Pi Omicron Chapter (Indianapolis University-Purdue University Indianapolis) fully supports and promotes IUPUI's Dance Marathon, Jagathon. The marathon benefits Riley's Children's Hospital. Pi Omicron's team goal is to raise $1,000 for pediatric cancer.

"The chapter recently took a break out of our busy schedules to grow our sisterhood," said Katie Brown, LAMP Editor and History, "on a fun and relaxing retreat. By the end of the weekend, we had made new bonds, made our sisterhood stronger, and shared precious memories we'll never forget."

Pi Omicron Chapter (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis) hosts successful Paws for a Cause for philanthropy

In October 2016, the Pi Omicron Chapter (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis) held its first Paws for a Cause philanthropy event.

"We paired with Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) to hold a dog costume walk to raise money for both IACS and the Starkey Hearing Foundation," said Katie Brown, LAMP Editor and Historian. "IACS brought dogs who needed to be adopted for people to walk, but we also encouraged people to bring their own pets as well. We raised nearly $700 for Starkey!"
