Zeta Epsilon Chapter takes first place in flag football tournament at California University of Pennsylvania

The Zeta Epsilon Chapter took first place in the annual Flag Football competition between sororities on the California University of Pennsylvania campus to move up ten points in the ongoing Greek Week events.

Zeta Epsilon Chapter members recognized for outstanding achievements at California University of Pennsylvania

Four members of the Zeta Epsilon Chapter striving for excellence in leadership on the California University of Pennsylvania campus, Lacey Koster, Kelsey Meyers, MaryBeth Raidt and Laura Cook, were inducted into the Order of Omega.

Zeta Epsilon members Andrea Gettig, Lacey Koster, Kelsey Meyers, Paige Myers, Laura Cook and Marissa Keffer were inducted into Gamma Sigma Alpha, a national Greek honor society which recognizes excellence in academics.

Zeta Epsilon is proud to recognize these outstanding members who exemplify outstanding leadership and lifelong learning.

Zeta Epsilon Chapter recognized with Highest Overall Sorority GPA at California University of Pennsylvania

The Zeta Epsilon Chapter was recognized with the Highest Overall Sorority GPA, out of all five sororities on the California University of Pennsylvania campus, with an overall 3.31 GPA.

In addition, four members of the chapter were initiated into Order of Omega, recognized for demonstrating outstanding leadership in Greek and campus life.

And six memberes were inducted into Gamma Sigma Alpha for demonstrating academic excellence. Zeta Epsilon Chapter proudly congratulates these outstanding members.

Zeta Epsilon Chapter raises money for American Sign Language Club and The Painted Turtle at California University of Pennsylania

The Zeta Epsilon Chapter participated in the fifth annual Michael Kors purse raffle with 800 tickets being sold to those who wanted a chance to win a Michael Kors handbag or Michael Kors wristlet. The money from the raffle went to the American Sign Language Club on the Clifornia University of Pennsylvania campus and The Painted Turtle camp.

The chapter also holds the highest overall sorority GPA on the California University of Pennsylvania campus for the spring of 2016 out of five sororities.

Zeta Epsilon Chapter says goodbye to graduates of California University of Pennsylvania

Seven remarkable members of the Zeta Epsilon Chapter at California University of Pennsylvania became Delta Zeta alumnae as of May 7, 2016. "Each member holds a special place in our hearts as we see them move onto new chapters in their lives through careers and accomplishments<" said Marissa Ann O'Brien, LAMP Editor. "Delta Zeta is not four years; it is for life, and as we see these lovely women graduate, we remember that sisterhood never graduates. Sisterhood is forever."

Zeta Epsilon Chatper wins first place for Greek Week at California University of Pennsylvania

The Zeta Epsilon Chapter won first place for Greek Week at California University of Pennsylvania for the fifth consecutive year. The chapter also won first place with the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity in the annual Greek Sing competition.

Zeta Epsilon Chapter aims high academically at California University of Pennsylvania

During the Spring 2016 semester, eight Zeta Epsilon Chapter members were inducted into the National Greek Academic Honor Society of Gamma Sigma Alpha. Of these eight women, four were also inducted into the Order of Omega.


Zeta Epsilon's overall chapter GPA for the Spring 2016 semester accumulated to a 3.33, and 27 members of the chapter were named to the Dean's list, which is 66 percent of the chapter.

Zeta Epsilon raises $1,400 for philanthropy at California University of Pennsylvania

During the Spring 2016 semester, the Zeta Epsilon Chapter at California University of Pennsylvania hosted its annual Michael Kors Purse Raffle. Through ticket purchases and donations the chapter raised $1,400. "We donated $830 to the Delta Zeta Foundation," said Marissa O'Brien, LAMP Editor and Social Chairman. "Two hundred and fifty dollars went to Starkey Hearing Foundation, and $250 to our local philanthropy, The American Sign Language Club at the California University of Pennsylvania."

The Zeta Epsilon Chapter held a Hot Dogs for Hearing event for five evenings in a row. The chapter also sold raffle tickets. The money raised from these events was more than $4,500, benefiting the California University of Pennsylvania Speech and Hearing Association and Delta Zeta's national philanthropy of speech and hearing.

"We have served much of our time to help our local foundations, such as the American Heart Association in Pittsburgh, Kidney Foundation in Pittsburgh, Habitat For Humanity of Washington, California's Food Pantry, California Center in the Woods," said Marissa O'Brien, LAMP Editor.
