Gayle McCracken Tuttle, East Carolina - Zeta Lambda, named Trailblazer Marketer of the Year finalist in healthcare marketing industry

PM360, a publication for marketing decision makers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, recently named Gayle McCracken Tuttle, East Carolina - Zeta Lambda, as a Trailblazer Marketer of the Year finalist.

Gayle is Vice President of Market Innovation for the HAP Innovations, LLC, a medical device company based in Raleigh. She has over 25 years in healthcare marketing and communications leadership for provider, payer and technology organizations. She started her career as a journalist, covering Congress and the White House before entering marketing as a consultant to national healthcare provider groups.

“It’s an honor to be a finalist for the PM360 Trailblazer awards, and to be in the company of those committed to excellence in healthcare marketing,” said Gayle. “So much of this recognition goes to the outstanding agency creative team at The Bloc for bringing warmth to technology with a voice for the patient, and the caregiver.”

Since 2009, the PM360 Trailblazer awards have recognized outstanding achievement and innovation in healthcare marketing. Each year, nominations are judged by the PM360 Editorial Advisory Board, a distinguished cross-section of industry experts. The Marketer of the Year is an innovative game changer who has transformed his or her company, the industry, or the state of disease diagnostics or treatment.

“At a time when our industry is dealing with a lot of uncertainty in terms of the future of healthcare, drug pricing, and regulation, marketers need to be at the top of their game and ready for anything that comes their way,” says Anna Stashower, CEO and Publisher of PM360. “Our four finalists have proven they are capable of that and more, as they delivered impressive projects that push the boundaries of what we’ve previously seen.”

Finalists are acknowledged and winners will be honored during a special reception at Gotham Hall at 1356 Broadway in New York City on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Each year, the Trailblazer Awards Gala attracts more attendees from the pharmaceutical industry than any other industry event. Profiles of all of the night’s winners will appear in PM360’s October issue.

Emmy Award-winning actress and comedian Judy Gold will serve as the emcee for the event. Judy Gold has written and starred in two critically acclaimed, long-running Off-Broadway hit shows: The Judy Show – My Life As A Sitcom, (New York Times critic’s pick) and 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, which won the 2007 GLAAD award for Outstanding New York Theater. Judy has also appeared as a guest star on several popular TV shows including “Louie,” “30 Rock,” “2 Broke Girls,” “The Big C” and “Sex & The City.”

Additionally, PM360 is honored to announce that Margaret G. McGlynn, former President, Merck Vaccines, and currently Board Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Amicus Therapeutics, Orphan Technologies and Air Products; and President, HCU Network America, will be the recipient of the prestigious Trailblazer Lifetime Achievement Award.
